United Methodist Women is operating under a new name, United Women in Faith. Click here to learn more!

United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women though Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.

From September through May, the Asbury UWF meet regularly. The yearly schedule includes General Meetings which are open to all members of the congregation and the community.

There are three circles. Rebekah Circle meets at 9:30am on the third Wednesday of the month, Hannah Circle meets at 1:30pm on the third Wednesday of the month, and Lydia Circle gathers on the second Thursday at 7pm. The monthly Grapevine, the Asbury calendar, the Asbury UWF Facebook page and the Asbury website, provide up-to-date information.

Asbury UWF raises money for missions throughout the year. A Soup luncheon with bake sale in November, a Chocolate Fare in February, a Flower Sale in May, and year round sale of fair trade coffee, tea, and chocolate, are annual events. These, in addition to members’ donations support work being done nationally, internationally, and locally.

If you would like to find out more about one of our circles, please contact our president Kathleen Miller at 740-360-2421.
